·      4 (8 ounce) packages fat free cream cheese
·      1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
·      3 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chilies, drained (Found in Mexican section)
·      1 jar pickled jalapeño pepper slices (Found in Mexican section)
·      Garlic Powder
·      Cayenne
·      1 large container (about 4 cups) grated parmesan cheese (if desired, use part Mexican three cheese or Monterey jack)
·      Bread Crumbs
·      Tortilla Chips

Directions
In large bowl, soften the cream cheese
Mix in mayonnaise
Drain the canned green chilies, saving the juices and mix in 2 cans
Drain the jar of jalapeno peppers, saving the juices.
Mince half the jalapeño peppers and mix in.
Add garlic powder, cayenne pepper, more chilies, jalapeños and juices as desired until you get the taste and desired level of spiciness

Lightly grease a large (at least 13 x 9) baking pan and sprinkle with bread crumbs
Drop spoonfuls of mixture into pan. Using a rubber spatula, gently spread until even.
Spread the cheese over the top
Add another thin layer of breadcrumbs

Bake 30 minutes or until cheese is brown. (Times will vary depending on what cheese you use, so keep an eye on it!)
If desired, broil for a few minutes to really get the cheeses bubbling.
For parties, slice into squares and carefully move to slow cooker.

·      3 pounds hamburger (85% fat)
·      2 large onions, chopped
·      1 large package sliced mushrooms (if desired)
·      5 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
·      2 containers sour cream
·      2 tablespoons olive oil
·      ½ cup Red Wine
·      Cayenne
·      Garlic Powder
·      Salt
·      Pepper
·      Onion Salt
·      Parsley
·      2 bags egg noodles, cooked al dente

Add the olive oil. Cook the onion and mushrooms (if using) until tender. Remove onions to slow cooker.

In frying pan, brown the hamburger. Add red wine. Reduce heat and let simmer to cook off alcohol. Pour off fat. Lightly season with spices to taste and add to slow cooker.

In slow cooker, stir 4 cans of soup into hamburger mixture. Heat on high until bubbling. Reduce to low.

Gradually stir in sour cream, checking seasonings frequently. (You may not want to use all the sour cream.)

When satisfied, if desired, gently fold in the noodles. Or, keep mixture separate and serve on top of noodles.

·      4 Eggs
·      1 containers chicken livers (12 oz)
·      ½ teaspoon garlic powder
·      ½ tablespoon parsley
·      1 cups cornmeal

In food processor or powerful blender, add the eggs, livers, garlic powder and parsley. (Be sure to crush the parsley in your hand before dropping it in. That helps kill the smell!)

For a special occasion, frost with chicken baby food and decorate with dog cookies, greenie sprinkles, etc…

Hello, Exhibitors!

Thank you for entering the New Year’s 2009-2010 CPE Trial hosted by AgileDogs Agility Training. This is your entry confirmation. We have a total of 159 dogs entered for 400 runs on Friday, 406 runs on Saturday and 413 runs on Sunday.

This trial is full to capacity! We are going to do our best to move the trial along efficiently while making sure everyone has a safe and successful run and gets their time in the ring. Walk throughs will be timed at 7 minutes all weekend long. We will be counting on our volunteers (thank you so, so much!) to help make the weekend go smoothly. Please listen to both the general briefing in the morning and the judge’s class briefings for ways we can make the trial run more efficiently.

Site Details:

There are a few rules that we're asking people to follow so that we can use High Goal Farm for future trials. The pond, barn, livestock, woods, and Cerilli house are off limits to anyone at the trial. Anything else that is roped off is also off limits to anyone at the trial. There is a large field on the side of the agility building for exercising your dogs. Dogs not in the warm up area or in the ring must be leashed at all times. No smoking is allowed in the building. No alcohol or drugs are allowed at the trial site. Please clean up after yourself and your dog(s). There will be garbage receptacles for dog waste, cigarette butts, and any other garbage. Please bring water for your dogs. Crating space is limited, so please conserve space by stacking crates if possible and by using only high occupancy x-pens. Please be considerate of folks who will be crating their dogs in their vehicles by leaving the parking spaces adjacent to the building for them. Thanks in advance for complying with the above requests. In addition, please note that the building will be kept at approximately 58 degrees, so come prepared to dress in several light layers while in the building.

Awards:

· Perfect weekend rosettes will be awarded to teams achieving Q’s in all 12 runs.

· 1st Annual “Heart of Sandy” Award. The judge will give this award to the dog who clearly enjoys the game and gives his/her all when out there on the course. It is in honor of Sandy, who gave her heart for me every time we went into the agility ring up until and including her last trial, which was New Year’s 2007-2008.

Check-in, Measuring, and Starting Times:

Thursday: Check in, measuring, and setup on Thursdsay night (12/31) from 5:00-6:30 PM.

Also, from 4-8 pm Wendy Cerilli will be holding run throughs at the trial site, on a nested standard course. The cost is $6 for the first run and $4 for each additional run with the same dog. There will be NO measuring of dogs AFTER the Judges Briefing begins each day – ALL DOGS WITHOUT A PERMANENT HEIGHT CARD MUST BE MEASURED before the Judges’ Briefing in order to show that day – THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

CATALOGS:

Only a few copies of the run catalog will be available at the trial. The catalog will be available for download and printing a few days before the trial on www.agiledogs.net

Volunteers:

The volunteer schedule will be posted on the AgileDogs website the week before the trial. Thanks to all who volunteered!

Please do not worry about conflicts between classes you’re working and classes you’re running in. All workers will be accommodated. You can move your dog within a class to make sure you have time to concentrate on having a successful run with your 4-footed partner.

If your job for a given class is timer, scribe, assistant scribe, or gate steward, please report to the chief ring steward when the briefing for the class begins, so you can prepare for your job and so the judge can brief you if needed – thanks! If your job is anything not already mentioned, you can report any time before or during the walk through.

Food:

There will be no food vendor at this trial, but we’ll be getting subs on Friday and Sunday, and pizza on Saturday, for volunteers. If you’re not volunteering (that’s not many of you, I’m sure!) and want lunch, you can pay $5 and participate, but I recommend simply volunteering J

MOVE-UPS - CLOSING DATE:

During the trial, move-ups will be taken at the show, and must be submitted to the Show Secretary before the completion of the last class of the day. Thank you for your cooperation.

The deadline for contacting the secretary with move ups or corrections before the trial is the end of day on Monday, December 28th. Any changes to entries made after that date will be subject to a $5 service change fee.

Directions to the Trial Site:

From North or South (Saratoga Springs): take Exit 14 of I-87 (Northway) and follow the signs for Rte 29, east. Go 9 miles on Rte 29 to Schuylerville. Take a right at Cumberland Farms. Go 0.3 miles to the light and take a left at the light, following Rte 29. You will pass the Washington County Fairgrounds. 2.7 miles past the fairgrounds, take a right at the Battenkill Vet Clinic onto Rte 40, south. Go 0.3 miles. Take a left onto Bulson at the Elks Club. Go 0.4 miles. Take a right onto Hegeman's Bridge Road, Go 0.2 miles and take a left onto Louse Hill Road. Go 0.2 miles and turn right up the driveway to High Goal Farm.

From South or East, alternate route: Take Route 22 North through the towns of Petersburgh and Hoosick. In Cambridge, take a left onto Route 372 West, and follow for 10 miles. Take a left on Hill Street (this is the end of Route 372, it's at a traffic light); follow for 1.4 miles (it becomes Hegeman Bridge Road). Turn left onto Louse Hill Road, follow for 0.2 miles and turn right up the driveway to High Goal Farm.
